In chronic pain with degenerative disc disease. Anyone had injections in the lumbar region/surgery?

Hi all, I hope your all doing as good as possible. I’m in constant pain with degenerate disc disease cervical and lumber. Has any one had injections in the lumbar region which has helped? Also has anyone had surgery in cervical to relieve pain. I’m really fed up with this pain, it is there all the time, it wakes me when I’m trying to sleep. Any information would be really helpful.

    Did any of the advice you received on this thread help? Also, how is your mood holding up?

    I've amended the title of your thread to help others who might have had injections/surgery spot it and offer their stories.  Please let us know how you get on.  Fingers crossed for some relief asap.

    Hello @mariequirk. Unfortunately as none of us are medically trained it's going to be difficult for you to find relevant advice beyond personal experience. Could you arrange an appointment with your GP or specialist to see if they can answer this for you?
