Hi @mariequirk sorry to read your in lots of pain have you seen a specialist for your spine and had an mri? To see what is causing the pain, also are you on the right pain meds, that your gp can prescribe? Sorry to bombard you with questions, have you been referred or self referred to physiotherapy?
Getting right pain relief would help release some of the discomfort, try also to keep moving, by that im not saying you don't, but it does help the spine. If you haven't been referred to a specialist then get the ball rolling by asking your gp to refer you.

Hi and thanks for replying, I’m on morphine tablets and oramorph also naproxen, baclifen and pregablin, i have had spine mri and am currently speaking to my doctor about pain injection and surgery on my neck. I’m past the point were physio would help. I’m really struggling with the pain.1

Hello @mariequirk
Sorry to hear you are finding things tough lately, it can't be easy being in so much pain.
It seems as though you've explored many options with your GP, and hopefully you find something that resolves things for you.
Is your GP also helpping you to manage your mental health? Do they know how it's making you feel?1 -
I know it can be hard as I'm living with the same thing and the thing is with the cervical area it's makes ur head feel so heavy specially when walking .I'm waiting for spinal surgery too xx2

Oh really, I’m sorry to hear that. I’m in the process of speaking with my gp to get to a good level of pain relief which I still haven’t reached. I think if it’s an option for me and the risks arnt massive I will have that done because as you say your head does feel to heavy and everything is a struggle. I wish you well and a speedy recovery after your surgery. Take care and please let us know how you get on.Best wishes.1

Hi ... Sorry to hear that you are in pain, I do know what it is like I have been suffering for quite some time, November 2019 I had a spinal Op, I suffer with severe Depression and Anxiety, also Agoraphobia so hard for me to be near crowds people etc, but the Hospital were great and put me in a little room on my own unfortunately the Op has not worked I had an M.R.I which showed this, but then we went into lockdown so at present I am in Limbo, trying to get an appointment with Doctor is Horrendous as I think I will have to start it all again, I have had Blockers which did not work and now I am finding it hard to walk etc, so I know where you are coming from and I am sure Depression feed pain and pain gets you depressed, I hope that you get an operation soon and that for you it works all being well it will give you some relief ... All the very Best1

I just wanted to say hello and see how everybody is getting on? Also, a warm welcome to the community @ZeN.
Sorry to hear about some of the issues that you're all dealing with. But it's really good to see that you, @mlkins and @mariequirk have found each other and you've been able to connect on the community.
Hopefully, this could be a really positive way of sharing your experiences and helping to support each other going forward from here?
Also, I know you're all at different stages of getting help from your GP's and medical teams. And I do hope you manage to get the relief that you're looking for in terms of your physical issues. But if you ever need a bit of extra moral support or a helping hand with some of the other things you're going through, just give us a shout on the community. We're here to help if we can.
