Some advice regarding my 4 year old

My daughter is a little over 4 now and since spring started she will not wear any clothing except her diaper. I have also tried to get her out to go to the park but to no avail. I tell her we'll go bye and she'll get full on anxiety¸ run around and say bye. She is also delayed in speech. She understands certain things but if I ask her what her name is¸ or any question I won't get an answer. I'm looking for advice from anyone who has been in this situation if there's something that worked for them

Hi @katherine32 - & welcome to this friendly & supportive community. I wonder if you have tried contacting the National Autistic Society for advice. Please see: https://www.autism.org.uk/ There's also some info here: https://www.ambitiousaboutautism.org.uk/Scope also has support to help parents such as 'Navigate' & 'Parents Connect.' Please see: https://www.scope.org.uk/family-services/Hope some of this may help, & you connect with other parents going through similar problems.

Hi @katherine32
How are you doing today? Welcome to the community!
I hope that other parents who've had similar experiences will find your post soon. Along with our category for discussions relating to autism, you may also want to visit our parents, carers, and disabled parents category to connect with other parents.
Does your daughter currently have a diagnosis? Are you and your daughter getting much support from a medical team? They should be able to make some suggestions, and help you put things in place to help your daughter.
I'd also second chiarieds' signposts to NAS and Scope's family services. Parents Connect may be of particular interest to you, as it'll help you to get some advice and support, as well as to connect with other parents in a similar position.0
