Hello @forstgump, this reads that you’ve been awarded LCWRA (limited capability for work and work-related activity).0
-
Is that the group that gets extra money? Is there anyone else that can confirm this please I only sent the uc50 2 weeks ago0
-
It’s was a paper based assessment if anyone was wondering0
-
Yes it involves extra money. You won’t receive anything for the first three full assessment periods following the reporting of the health condition.0
-
That’s a very quick turn around. You could ask them for a copy of your assessment report (it sounds like you may have have a paper-based assessment).LCWRA is the group that receives extra money (unless a partner on the claim is already receiving extra money for LCWRA).0

Will this all be bak dated from my first fit note ?? And thy said if I o money thy might take this from this award can thy do this as I have made a payment arrangement with them I only took the 400 advanc payment at the start of my universal credit claim 3 months ago0
-
As I mentioned earlier, there is no money for the first three full assessment periods from when you reported the health condition. Money will start to be paid from the fourth full assessment period.0
-
But I herd that u get money backdated from ur first sick note handed in0
-
Nope. There is a three full assessment period waiting period, so those three months won’t be paid. Depending on when you reported the health condition you may still be owed money, but nothing for the first three assessment periods.0
-
Thy no about my health condition since the start of my claim 3 months ago now I’m on this , I’m sure I have heard people on hear say thy get money backdated to the start of there claim0
-
If it was reported only 3 months ago then no you will not be owed anything, there is a waiting period as advised.
You might be confusing this with PIP, that is backdate right to the beginning.0 -
Hi there
Some people wait a long time for assessments which us why they get back pay.
The ruling is as above nothing is pain for the first 3 assessment periods after reporting the condition and providing fit note
To answer your other questions yes if you was owed a back payment they can take any amount you owe to dwp from the backpay
But as you won't be getting back pay this will not apply0 -
Thank you really appreciate ur help people peace ☮️0
