Would Like To Travel To Australia. What's the situation with travel rules?

Hia Folks
Last November I anticipated and planned to go to Australia for a few weeks.
But because of Covid...
I want to go to Australia mid November for a month. But the rules keep changing. You got to take a test, you haven't got to test.
Can anyone clarify what the situe is pls?
I think another year back in Blighty is on the cards... Thanks
