Esa advice needed

Know someone whom gets esa contribution based,but is in support group, normally it's 12 months but if in support group it's ongoing can anyone confirm this??? Looking online it says if in support group 12 month rule doesn't apply advice needed please thanks in advance

    That's correct. In the Support Group contribution based or new style ESA can continue for as long as the claimant remains in the Support Group.
    Information I post is for England unless otherwise stated. Rules may be different in other parts of UK.

    Thanks so much we thought as much ,he was told he would never be reassess six years ago he's never been sent for since either
