HI,PIP isn't awarded based on any diagnosis, it's how those conditions affect your ability to carry out daily activities based on the PIP descriptors. You must have also had the condition for at least 3 months and expect it to last at least a further 9 months. This link may help. https://pipinfo.net/
I would appreciate it if members wouldn't tag me please. I have all notifcations turned off and wouldn't want a member thinking i'm being rude by not replying. If i see a question that i know the answer to i will try my best to help. -

Hi @mccallum73 - I'm sorry for the difficulties you're facing. Altho a friend has told you that you should apply for PIP, I would suggest you look into it yourself to see if you may meet the criteria. Please have a look here: https://www.cambridgeshire.gov.uk/asset-library/Personal-Independence-Payment-Descriptors-and-Scores-April-2021.pdf Despite your diagnoses, PIP is about how this affects certain aspects of daily living, &/your mobility. Please do have a look, & come back with any questions.
