I just wondered if anyone has successfully applied for the home adaptation grant available through local councils and assessed by the occupational therapy department.  I have a 9 year old son diagnosed with autism last December who currently shares a room with his older brother.  We are looking to convert the loft into a bedroom so they don't have to share.

Welcome to the community @Nellie :) How are you doing?

Are you referring to the Disabled Facilities Grants? I don't have personal experience of applying for this, but hopefully we'll have some other members who have.

    Have you started the process?
