I sent my MR in just over 4 weeks ago, and I've just had a telephone call asking questions about my condition. She said I would hear within 10 days.  She then rang me back as she forgot to check my bank details were the same as when I completed the form if payment is to be made. Is this normal? I feel sick not knowing. And it will be right on Christmas too. Anyone had similar experiences?

They sometimes ring to ask questions before making a decision. Asking for your bank details was because they were just checking they had them correct.
I would appreciate it if members wouldn't tag me please. I have all notifcations turned off and wouldn't want a member thinking i'm being rude by not replying.
If i see a question that i know the answer to i will try my best to help.

It would be impossible to speculate anything at this stage. We've had members being called with questions and been successful and some that were still refused.
