Hi I am not getting notifications by email like I used to I inly get one now and again even though I have ticked what I want to be notified about

    Thanks for this, and apologies that you are having trouble with notifications. 

    Would you please be able to send us an email to community@scope.org.uk with a screenshot of the settings that you have set for notifications? That way, we will be able to provide any useful suggestions and if required escalate the issue with those who handle the technical side of the community.

    Hi @lisathomas50

    If you click on your photo in the top right corner, you should see a button called 'edit profile', and from there you should be able to see your settings! (such as notification preferences).     I had the same problem months ago and it was reported then and as yet no solution 

    I was getting notifications for categories I hadn't ticked and not getting any notifications for pm or if tagged 

    Adrian was dealing with it

    I hope that helped @lisathomas50, do let me know if you still can't find the notification settings. Just as a note, you can also go straight to your notification settings by pressing the notifications button in the top right, and then on the icon in the top right of the drop down that shows up. 

    I will check with Adrian where we are at with the issues you have experienced @janer1967

    Just to follow up @janer1967, that issue was raised with the forum platform provider, but unfortunately hasn't been resolved yet clearly, which is frustrating. All we can do is raise it again and hope that it can be looked into sooner, and same goes for what you are experiencing @lisathomas50 if that is a platform issue too.

    @Ross_Scope it's taking forever to be resolved I reported it months ago 

    I'm happy with the solution Adrian gave me which was to remove my email so I no longer get any notifications which suits be better than getting hundreds of emails 

    However think it needs escalating for other members and the timescale seems like a bit like dwp wait

    @lisathomas50 I found changing notifications settings had no impact at all and was told by Adrian that there was a problem with the function and it 8s being looked at

    @janer1967 it's not worked for me either it's a nightmare  @bekindalways is  it happening to you as well mine started a few days ago it was ok before that

    So I never seem to be online? Or am I invisible to myself, ie can others see that I’m online but not myself? If not something is wrong.

    Hi oh invisible @leeCal - if you go to 'Edit' your profile, then you'll see a list which includes 'who's online.' Click on that, then check that you haven't got the small box on the right ticked, which hides you,
    I do like your signature btw :)

    This is annoying now I still don't get notifications for scope and I miss loads because I don't have time to scroll through everything  then when I come on then I look like some desperate person because I am all over scope trying to catch up

    Sorry to hear of the inconvenience this is causing you @lisathomas50, it is frustrating that it has yet to be fixed. I have flagged it again with those who handle these kind of issues.
