Hi I just wanted to post this to see if anyone has been successful with an LCWRA award for CPTSD/PTSD?
I understand most who successful won't post but thought it is worth a shot.
History: Military Veteran and retired Firefighter diagnosed with CPTSD and Clinical depression.
Thanks

Hi,There are lots of people that are found to have LCWRA because of the way their mental health affects them. What you can't do is compare someone else to yourself because we are all affected differently by these conditions and it's not awarded based on any diagnosis.0

I understand that, it was just a yes or no really. Has anyone been awarded due to ptsd? Not the ins and out, just if anyone was successful with that being a main part on there forms.

As those truly suffering with ptsd will more likely experience issues with difficulties around the same areas of there life's (roughly)0

Welcome to the community @daddyvet
This isn't something I've been through myself but yes, it's possible to be awarded LCWRA on mental health grounds. I hope that someone with personal experience of this will find your post soon. You could also try searching for LCWRA and PTSD on the community, as I saw a few relevant results pop up.
Do you mind me asking what stage you're at with your claim?0 -
