Hi @amro nice to meet you on the forum. Might be worth trying gp again if you need to. Lots here have back problems, as you'll read when you look on topics of discussions. Join in with some other topics, coffee shop is a good place to start, you'll find it under categories.1

Hi Sandy
nice to meet you to . Thank you for your advice. I will try0 -
Hello @amro and welcome to the community, thanks so much for joining. I'm sorry to hear that you've be having a difficult time with your depression and anxiety lately.
The mental health charity Mind has some really helpful information and advice on how to get support and to how to practice self care as well.
There's also Samaritans, who you can call if you want someone to talk to now on 116 123, or you can email jo@samaritans.org.
As our other members have suggested it might be worth chatting to your GP, so do let us know how you get on, and don't hesitate to ask if you feel we can help any further.

Hi @amro
Thanks for reaching out to us. I always appreciate how much courage it must take to reach out. I hope you receive the support you need and deserve soon. Would you like to talk to us about anything? We are here for you and listening to you if you would like to talk to us about anything0 -
It can definitely feel really disheartening when you don't feel as though your concerns are being taken seriously @amro, and when it's difficult to get an appointment in the first place. Is your GP surgery offering telephone appointments?
I'm wondering whether it may also be worth referring yourself for some talking therapy through the IAPT service while you wait to speak with your GP, if you live in England. Do you think accessing some talking therapy might help?
You could also see if there are any charities offering support in your local area by searching on the Hub of Hope.0 -
Dear I been trying to get appointment with my GB for 3 weeks trust me every day in the morning 8 clock in the phone by the time they answer is 9 clock what they say no appointment available with very nasty way . Feel like you have to suffer on your own.0

Hi amro welcome to the site - sorry to hear things are not good for you at the moment - please look around the site - you might find it a distraction like i do, or you may find someone with the same condition,
We've been talking about the weather today - i don't know why ha ha0 -
I've had some success booking telephone appointments with my GP through the NHS app @amro. Is that something you could try?0
-
Hi dear I am trying every day day and night in the app but unfortunately keep saying no appointments available very strange.0
-
Ah, that's really frustrating @amro
I'm not sure what else to suggest on that front other than to keep trying!
Did you check out the IAPT link I posted above? That doesn't require a referral from your GP.
You also mentioned in your original post that you're sick of your current lifestyle- is that right? Would you be able to tell us a little more about that?0 -
Hi @Tori_Scope yes I did use it I am trying all everything to register but keep giving error I don’t know why? Thank you very much I will keep trying x0

Hiya @amro,
I’m just catching up with this post and was wondering if there have been any updates? Did you manage to get an appointment with your GP or refer yourself to therapy? Both of those things would be really helpful steps. If possible, perhaps you could physically go to the GP and ask at reception. Not ideal, I know, but sometimes technology isn’t the most reliable!
I know from other posts that you have been feeling a little lonely, but I’m hopeful that you have managed to make some friends since joining here? Let me know0
