Hi, my name is goveas!Has anybody received such a request from the DWP?

I phoned to apply for PIP and they sent me the form. It is 10 days since I received the form but did not send it back yet. This morning I received a letter from DWP asking to send my original passport and biometric or any other Home Office Document. I'm surprised because I'm already on Universal Credit. Did anyone receive such a request from DWP before even having submitted their PIP application? Thanks in advance for all your replies.
