There's a full 3 month assessment period waiting time and the extra money is paid from the 4th month after you reported your health condition.
If you receive payment on 11th of each month then this means your assessment periods are from 5th to 4th of each month, so your fit note was reported in the Nov/Dec assessment period.
If you reported your health condition on the same date you submitted the fit note then your waiting period will be as follows.
Dec/Jan, Jan/Feb, Feb/March. LCWRA will be paid from AP 5th March to 4th April and first payment will be 11th April.
If you reported your health condition on 5th November then you will receive first payment on 11th March.

If it’s paid in April does it mean March is part of the time frame of 3months or is there a back dated element …as I have been awarded Lwcra should I apply for PIP
    thank you for help

As explained by poppy the first payment is due in April which covers the period 5th March to 4th April. Nothing is due prior to that.

PIP and LCWRA are assessed differently.
The PIP descriptors and criteria are described here
