I wonder if you can explain what you need help with a little more, that way we can give you the best advice we can. What's concerning you the most?

Fit notes need to be sent without gaps when waiting for the work capability assessment. During Covid, they were just asking you to provide details of your fit notes and asking you to hold onto to them just incase they were needed in the future.

If you had gaps in your fit notes then this can cause issues when the LCWRA is paid from.

I find myself in a similar position where UC state they will only pay 53 weeks instead of 144 weeks after a 3 year wait for a WCA. UC stay I havent "declared" fit notes for 3 x 3 month periods which are noted in my journal and sent to JC but the UC system didn't send a To Do to submit a fit note so I put those dates in a journal entry to my Work coach who said hold on to them as they didn't know what to do with them. I did post these to the JC - it's all in my journal history.

I have a joint new style ESA and UC claim for housing costs. ESA decision maker called and said they recieved all of my fit notes without a gap and was awarded the full 144 weeks arrears as put in the support group.

I can't seem to get UC and ESA decision makers to talk to one another about the duplication of arrears payments or for the UC Case Manager to call me as I think a conversation will easily resolve as they need to explain why I wasn't sent a report a fit note task during July 2020 and April 2021 before it became more automated function.

If you are being paid ESA Support Group for taht period then UC must include the LCWRA element for the same period. Request a Mandatory Reconsideration.
