Hi my name is Zoe
I am currently campaigning in getting young disabled people into employment and would really like to have more young disabled people to join me in getting the message out.

    Hey @zoeshw :)

Thank you for your post about your potential campaign of getting young disabled people into employment. This is a really cool idea and I wondered if you had thought about what the campaign will involve? Also, you mention 'young' disabled people and I wondered what age/ages classify as 'young'?

I hope some of our members can share their insights with you and support your campaign :)

    Hiya @zoeshw
    What a fabulous idea  !!
Young people do want to work, but when they meet many obstacles along the way,its disheartening.
Can you share more information ?

    Hiya @zoeshw,
I think this is a great idea and I’d absolutely be interested in helping to move it all forward :). In my experience, the biggest hurdles come through society’s perception that disabled people aren’t capable of managing these opportunities, which leads to a lack of willingness to make them truly accessible. But it sounds like you’re ready to change that!

Hello @zoeshw thanks for sharing your plans for campaigning, that's great :)

If it's alright I've removed the duplicate of your post from the work and employment category to avoid any confusion, as this one is getting the most attention.

What do you feel are some of the biggest barriers for disabled young people trying to get into employment?
