If award stays the same after appeal, will you have to put in a new claim when your award is up?

If you go to appeal and your award stays the same will you then have to put in a new claim when your award is up or will it be a renew? Also if you withdraw from appeal do you have to start a new claim when your award is due or will that be a renewal

I don't think it matters whether it's a renewal or a new claim, other than the new claim form is a PIP2 and the renewals are shorter forms. Either way, you should always treat it as a new claim anyway so for this reason it makes no difference.

If the award was made by a tribunal you will be invited to make a new application, if the award was done by DWP you will be sent a renewal pack.0
