Good evening, just stumbled across your Community while trying to find out if i can claim PIP as i have just qualified for LCWRA payments, finally after putting the paperwork in last June a long time ago.
 So im hoping to get some good advice from you lovely people if possible about the procedure etc … anyway more of that later nice to meet you and take care.

    Hi,
    Your LCWRA award will have no relevance to a PIP claim. They are 2 different benefits, with different criteria. PIP is not about your ability to work.
    Whether you qualify for PIP will depend on how your conditions affect you in relation to the 12 PIP activities. You can see those, along with a lot more information here. https://pipinfo.net/
    Do be aware that backlogs are huge so if you do decide to apply then it can take about 10 months from the date you apply to having a decision.
