Hi, my name is jmc3598! Only been awarded the standard rate of mobility and don't know why

Has anyone else just received the standard rate of notability on PIP I have only been awarded £23.70 per week and don’t know why

    Sorry to hear that you aren't happy with the award you have received, have you received your decision letter in the post yet? That should explain why you have been awarded that rate. 

    If you disagree with the decision, your next step should be to request the manditory reconsideration (MR) which you can read further information about here. You can also use this template provided on Gov.uk to help with putting the MR together.

    It's not unusal to be awarded only the mobility part. We have some members here that are the same as you. Whether you're entitled to any daily living will totally depend on how your conditions affect you against the 10 PIP activities.

    Hi no I don’t know why yet as I was told over the phone yesterday that I was awarded standard rate notability but I suffer with my mental health really badly not my notability so I don’t understand why

    Following and planning a journey part of mobility can apply to those who suffer with mental health. If you disagree with the decision then you can request the Mandatory Reconsideration as advised above.
