Hi on the 14th of March I was put into the LCWRA category on UC.
The letter says that any extra money gets paid 3 months after the first time I informed them of my illness that would of been November 12 2021 and I have provided a sicknote each month without gaps, what I'm confused about is what counts as a month they work out what im entitled to between the 22nd-21st of each month so does that mean Nov/Dec/Jan is the 3 months or is it Nov/Dec, Jan/Feb. March/April?
Thanks for any light you can shed this whole process has been draining.

Your first payment should be March0
-
It's 3 full assessment periods that count and the extra money is then paid from the 4th month.Your assessment periods (AP) are 22nd-21st of each month, which means you reported your health condition in AP Oct/Nov.. therefore your waiting periods are Nov/Dec, Dec/Jan, Jan/Feb. LCWRA starts from AP 22nd Feb to 21st March, with first payment being 28th March.1
