Hello,
I wonder if you could help me.
I am currently on Universal Credit and I am on Limited Work Capability. I also receive PIP enhancement in living and standard in moving/travel.
I am very confused with my council tax bill/support.
on a benefit calculation website it says I am entitled to support. But on my council tax account website it says my entitlement is 0.00.
I am confused. What does this mean?

Hello @bpdhelp
I hope you are well this weekend, thanks for making this post and sorry to read that you are a bit confused about this. I can certainly understand why, being told different things from different outlets can cause uncertainty.
It's worth noting that benefit calculators don't guarantee entitlement to benefits and instead should be considered more of an estimate.
Has your council provided any reasons as to why you aren't entitled to support with your council tax? Apologies if your screenshots contain that information, I can't read the content of them.
This page on the Citizens Advice website provides details regarding eligibility for council tax reduction, I hope it can be of use to you.0 -
There isn't enough information to comment. Each council can vary the CTR rules and we would need to study the rules of their scheme and see the detail of their calculation in order to be able to tell whether they have got it right. Not really something that can done on a forum like this.0
