Hi all,
I just wanted to know if anyone else has experienced this..?
I had my telephone tribunal today for Universal Credit, it only lasted for 7 minutes, they only wanted clarification on one descriptor, my daughter, who attended with me asked if they wanted to hear our statements however the judge stated that without preempting, they didn’t need to hear it as they didn’t need any further evidence.
They also advised they were taking into account information from my PIP award.
Can anyone gauge if this is a positive thing?
Many thanks!

Without knowing all of your circumstances and what the issues are it isn’t possible to be certain. However I am inclined to think that the tribunal had already decided that you were likely to meet one of the LCWRA descriptors. Once they decide any one LCWRA descriptor applies there is no need to discuss anything else.0

Hi,I don't think anyone here can tell you if it's a possitive thing or not because we don't know anything about your case. You should receive a decision letter in the post within the next few days.0

Hi,
Thank you for your response. How does the backdating work if I am successful in LCWRA. My assessment period first started from the 27th of March until the 26th of April 2020 and I sent my first fit note in straight away and had continuing sick notes until I had my assessment and awarded no point in June 2021, since then I haven’t sent in any in as awaiting outcome on appeal.
many thanks0 -
If found to have LCWRA then the waiting period will be March/April, April/May, May/June .. LCWRA starts from AP 27th June to 26th July and first payment 2nd August 2020.0
