Hi everyone I have previously had a discussion regarding my pip claim
I was just wondering I have a question does everybody receive a text message from DWP if they have your Number before you receive any communication from them after your assessment ?

They sometimes send a text once they receive the report back from the health assessment providers.Other than that there’s no other communication. Once the decision is made you’ll receive the decision letter in the post.If it’s a first time claim without transferring from DLA money is usually received before the decision letter.0

@Ross_Scope thank you so much for the warm welcome he definitely means a lot now and I have it on my community to help and support me all the way through this process
yes I guess I’m getting along okay it’s a very daunting and challenging time especially trying to balance my mental health and the support that I need
I do understand it’s a very long process for personal independence payment
it’s just very hard when you have anxiety and especially when I haven’t heard nothing for three weeks yes I know the process can take 2 to 12 weeks
it’s just a overwhelming feeling of them not knowing which is what I struggle with the most
@poppy123456 has been literally so amazing gave me great advice as well as others I was thinking last week to get the assessment report back but I chose not to thanks too @poppy123456 because I definitely think it will cause me more stress than high volumes anxiety which I feel like I don’t need it in my life now I find it very hard I’m going to see life just a balancing so I chose not to get their assessment report which I feel is the best thing for me but it’s just the overwhelming feeling and the waiting game I’m big believer in positivity and to keep going0
