Pip assessment call time

This may seem silly but I’ve read a few peoples call assessment lasting just 15mins or just up to an hour. My call was almost 3 hours!! Many questions were repeated but I was told to expect that.
But I never thought it would last almost 3hrs. A little worrying to say the least, it makes you think as to why!.
But it’s out of my hands and I'm just playing the waiting game like everyone else.

Hi @Keenajackson77 as you say it's a waiting game, and well done for getting through it, you've done the hardest part now!
I don't think that the length of your assessment has much bearing on the final decision, so try not to dwell on it too much if you can, especially if you are comparing to other assessments you've heard about, as we are all different individuals
Keep us updated with how you get on, and I hope it's not too long a wait for you.0 -
I agree with Alex here. The length of time the assessment takes will make no difference. It can be anything from 20-120 minutes, sometimes longer. It really depends on each individual case. Sometimes more questions are needed to get all the information.

Thank you both for your comments. It really has you thinking though doesn’t it and with me it’s usually thinking the worst. I mustn’t compare my experience with others but you can’t help it can you.But with help from this group it helps to ease the anxiousness. Thanks again.Much appreciated 😊0

Morning @Keenajackson77 welcome to this great group.
I know it's hard, i'm on the waiting game now after my assessment, but try and keep your mind busy on other things.
I find the virtual coffee lounge on the forum a great place for distraction, have a look see what you think.1 -
Morning sue,
thank you, yes I try to keep my mind busy but always come back to constantly checking messages and such. Will have look at the ‘Coffee Lounge for a distraction. ☺️Many thanks.0 -
I hope you find the coffee lounge a great distraction @Keenajackson77. Please let us know if we can do anything to support you through this difficult time.
Waiting is difficult because it brings uncertainty. However, you have got this and hopefully, the wait will go by quickly.
Please keep us in the loop if you feel comfortable doing so. You don't have to go through this, or anything else, alone if you don't want to

I'm sorry that you had a wobbly day, but hopefully the walk helped. It's surprising sometimes how beneficial getting out and enjoying the fresh air can be
