Very frustrated ,trying to get road tax for new car and being asked for certificate of exemption (as was for DLA).at post office. Will not accept that the statement has replaced the old exemption certificate !!!!

If you're claiming Enhanced mobility PIP you will need your certificate of entitlement from DWP. If the keeper or vehicle changes you need to get a new certificate from DWP.If you're claiming standard mobility PIP you'll be entitled to 50% reduction and you'll need to send all your documents to DVLA, you can't do this at any post office.

It's not their job to give such advice.
