Hi will everybody be on esa/ income support be migrating to uc? And what will happen to the disability premiums please?

    Yes everybody will eventually have to move to UC. The premiums do not exist in UC. However some people are better off, those that are worse off are typically those who get an SDP. 
    For those who are managed across there will be transitional protection so that the starting UC amount is not less than the previous benefits. However the transitional protection will erode over time.
    Information I post is for England unless otherwise stated. Rules may be different in other parts of UK.
