Severe Disability Premium Question

I received a call today regarding telling me I'm able to make a claim for SPD as I'm now on ESA and PIP but I live with my step father who's a pensioner... Am I eligible for SPD or not? Thanx

Is it income based ESA you get?Normally you won’t be eligible for SDP if someone lives with you unless they receive a qualifying benefit.1 -

Unless he's registered blind or recieves either PIP daily living, DLA mid./high rate care or Attendance Allowance then you won't be entitled to SDP.
