Hi everyone I’m @Spoonie_Naila. I was diagnosed five years ago with a rare long term auto immune condition called Vasculitis. Amongst other things it’s affected my mobility a great deal. The last few years have been tough trying to navigate the world with a different body that I’ve been used to, an as many people will know, it’s been tougher having your independence taken away from you.
One of the events that really helped me was attending the Naidex exhibition in Birmingham. I thought I’d post the link here if anyone is interested

there are lots of exhibitors showing equipment and services available for less able bodied people. There’s usually everything from mobility scooters to hoists and wet room equipment. Worth a browse if you’re likely to need any support or equipment soon.
