When will my first Lcwra payment be? Will I be backdated any?

Hi I have been given lcwra (24th May)
My assessment period is the 11th to the 10th each month. My first sick note was handed in on the 8th November 2021. Can anyone tell me when my first payment will be please and if I'll be backdated any?

This means your waiting period will be Nov/Dec, Dec/Jan, Jan/Feb.. LCWRA starts from AP Feb 11th to March 10th and first payment being 17th March. Therefore they owe you for March/April and May.

Your first payment should be in your next uc payment 

You will be entitled from your March  payment so owed 3 months this will be paid separately 

Nov to Dec,  Dec to Jan and Jan to Feb waiting periods so first payment period is Feb to March paid in March

Ahh fab, thank you so much. It's a bit of a mind field isn't it all... They said on the lcwra letter they'd contact me within 7 days, today being the 7th... Does anyone have any idea how long it takes for them to process the back pay? My childs going on a school residential and not going to lie, the money for it would really come in helpful sooner rather than later 🤦‍♀️

It's not unusal for it to take a few weeks to pay anything that's owed.

I've read many other posts about the same thing, as it stands no contact afterwards, no reply to any journal comments and no change on any previous payments

The decision letter does say 7 days but it's rarely done within this time. They have to recalculate your past statements first so they can find out exactly how much is owed.

Put a message under the payment section and hopefully someone will see it.
