Hi all..I'm new here.
Just wondering if anyone has had a PIP assessment during April/May 2022 and heard anything yet?
I know it's anything upto 3m advised waiting time but from what I've seen on some forums/pages it's only taking a matter of days/couple weeks.
I sent off my form on 5th Feb and had my phone assessment on 25th May. The next day I had a txt saying report was done so I rang up and received it two days later.
The report was very good and accurately described my problems, the points are 14 for care and 22 for mobility...Do the decision makers often taken a lot of points away? I'm quite nervous.
Would be interested in knowing if anyone had similar points and lost any.
Thanks for reading x

They mostly go with the report but it has been known for them to go against it. Decision waiting times are currently anything up to 12 weeks, sometimes longer. Before the decision's made they will look at everything you sent, including the form and the assessment report.

I was pleasantly surprised that the report accurately represented what I said, after some things I've seen on here I was dreading receiving it.0 -
That's the issue when reading stories on any internet forum, you'll mostly hear the bad stories. The majority of people claim PIP successfully, without any problems.

Did you send for your report? Were you happy with it? And have you been awarded? I'm on pins waiting lol0 -
My recommendation was good but some of the asessor comments weren't true to the asessment but the DM went with recommendation, and I was awarded I'm sure you'll be the same@kendo8610
