Hello everyone,
I am appealing my pip as I got awarded zero point even though my anxiety was through the roof and I had 2 panic attacks during the call in which the assessor had to call me back.
Long story short I’ve had to have my mental health nurse write me a letter and I’ve been told by the surgery I’ll have to pay £20 to get said letter. This has spiked my anxiety as I don’t have the money to pay for it. Do they usually charge for these letters?

My understanding is that they do often charge for these letters, yes @Keenajackson77. I can imagine that could be quite anxiety-provoking. Especially if you weren't expecting it.

Could I just check whether you're currently completing a Mandatory Reconsideration (MR), or whether you're at the tribunal stage?

I'm sorry to hear that you had some panic attacks during the assessment, and that your anxiety is heightened at the moment. Has your mental health nurse been able to support you through this?

The letter will only be any good if it details hoe your condition affects you against the descriptors which I doubt it will

Your nurse diesnt ses you dress , bathe ,  cook ,take meds , deal with finances , eat and so on

The best evidence is your own giving real examples of what happens when you try and do the task
