My husband has been deemed lcwra just recently but since 6th September 2021 have been sending in sick notes. Our assessment period is 9th to 8th each month. This month they have added the monthly figure but no back pay. What should we be owed and when are qe likely to recieve it please. If anyone can advise me.

Backpay is paid separately to you usual monthly payment. It's not paid at all during the waiting period of 3 full assessment periods. It's then paid from the 4th month after the health cvondition was reported. Based on the information you gave the waiting period will be Sept/Oct, Oct/Nov, Nov/Dec. LCWRA starts from AP 9th Dec - 8th January and first payment would be 15th January 2022.It often takes a few weeks to pay any money owed because they have top recalculate your past statements to find out exactly what's owed. Once this is done you'll receive a letter onto your journal telling you how much they owe.0
