Hi all,I've had the letter for my dreaded phone assessment! It's on Tuesday and I am not looking forward to it whatsoever!
If anyone has any advice or tips,I'd be very happy to hear them, otherwise, just wish me luck I guess!

Good Luck for Tuesday don't let them get you flustered think about the answers you give I wrote everything down on what I wanted and needed them to know but mine was for a renewal. GOOD LUCK1

Welcome to the community, and best of luck for tomorrow @Poelover
Some tips we see shared quite a lot are to:- read over your forms, if you kept them, to remind yourself of what you said and the examples you gave
- have a drink and snack with you
- ensure your phone is fully charged
- have a loved one sit with you, if that'd help you to feel less nervous
- take your time answering the questions
- ask the assessor to repeat the question if you didn't understand the first time

So,I had the assessment. It lasted an hour, the woman doing it seemed very nice but then, they usually do!Nothing to do now but wait.0
-
Well done for getting through the assessment @Poelover I hope you won't have too long a wait for the decision. If you can, put this to the back of your mind and focus on things you enjoy for now
Let us know if we can help with anything else in the meantime, and keep us updated with how it goes!1 -
It is really positive that you have had the assessment and the woman doing it seemed very nice @Poelover. How frustrating about needing to wait now though.
Waiting is often the hardest part, really nerve-provoking. Is there anything which might help this feel easier for you at the moment?1 -
Hi @L_Volunteer,I'm not taking it as a positive she was nice because they all appear to be but then write a report that bears no resemblance to the words you actually said lol.
But I'll be a bit more at ease when I know the report has been sent although goodness knows how long that takes.0 -
Ugh, that is frustrating @Poelover. I can hear how you would not take that as a positive.
Have you received the report yet? Not sure how long it will take but please feel free to keep us updated!
We are all here for you0
