Good morning
I am just wondering, as I am currently receiving LCWRA, and me and my husband are on a joint claim, does this mean that he could apply for the carers element, even though he currently works full time?

No, not with a LCWRA award. You need to have an award of either daily living PIP or DLA mid/high rate care for your husband to claim carers element.
