What are your favourite vegetables?

Good morning everyone

Today's topic of the coffee lounge is What are your favourite vegetables? 

My favourite vegetables are- carrots, broccoli, peas, mangetout peas, potatoes, sweet potatoes, mushroom, baby corn, sweetcorn, green beans, spinach, kale and white cabbage.

I much prefer vegetables to fruit and love all the ones you've listed.

Broccoli is probably my favourite but I also love Brussel sprouts

I find it hard to pick a favourite veg, but carrots, peas and baby corn would probably be up there. Much prefer fruit as I think it has more flavour to it.

I love most veg but here is favourites 

Parsnips , cauliflower , asparagus,  butternut squash , sprouts , courgettes

Got to be cauliflower so versatile also carrots and asparagus any vegetables apart from broad beans

I like carrots (raw), peas, cauliflower, broccoli and sweet potato! Others too, but those are my favourites

Are there any veggie dishes anyone can recommend as something a bit different?

I believe avocado is actually a fruit @Cleve, but it's treated like a vegetable I'd say. I like avocado too

Likes lots of veg aubergines, okra spinache, carrots, peas, potatoes, it's a l9ng list 1 I hate is sweetcorn

@L_Volunteer I like raw cauliflower, broccoli and potatoes occasionally. Good for you too. As I’m on a diet I sometimes want something low calorie to nibble so I have a slice of cauliflower, keeps me going 🙂

I love all my veg's and and how you cook them makes even better..gotta love roasted vegs with certain spices..yum yum 😋
