Is there any financial help available with moving costs?.
I live in south Wales.
I am currently in receipt of U.C. and P.I.P.

Also is there any charity organizations or similar that can help with removals, labour and transport.
I have been homeless for the last month and what property I have has been kept in storage.
Any help or advice would be appreciated
Thanks

You can try applying for a Discretionary housing Payment but the criteria for this is you usually need to be claiming either housing element of UC or housing benefit. Whether they will help i don't know. For this you need to apply through your local Authority. https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/claiming-discretionary-housing-payments/claiming-discretionary-housing-paymentsThere's also the Discretionary Assistance Fund (DAF) available in Wales. Details how to apply here. https://gov.wales/discretionary-assistance-fund-daf/how-apply

Thanks , that could just be the thing.
I will contact my local council tomorrow and enquire about both of those options. Fingers crossed as removal firms are really expensive eh.0
