Hi my son is 3 and has been diagnosed with autism last year and gets middle rate DLA .. now he’s been diagnosed with a very rare chromosome disorder a blood disorder according to his paediatrician should he be able to the higher rate DLA and mobility as he can’t do the things a normal 3 year old can do he struggles with speech and does not understand the dangers he would walk in the middle of a busy road jump in deep water a th the swimming baths and so on has to be either on reins or in a mountain buggy to get around

Hi poppy yes he is up frequently during the nought as he is so hyper I’ve got baby gates on the top of the stairs and bottom but he now climbs over them one night he got out and went downstairs opened the back door and got out it’s s nightmare constantly jumping at any little noise During the night thinking it’s hun doing the great escape0
