I'm Ben I have been approached with a offer of helping out at my local airgun club several hours a week, I am just wondering if my benefits will be impacted if I do help out ?
O get DWP IIB, DWP EESA, DWP DLA
I really want to help out at the club but I don't want to lose my housing & council tax benefit please can someone help me work this out

IIB/DLA isn't affected by you working. ESA, you can do permitted work but you must make sure that you work less than 16 hours per week and earn no more than £152 per week after deductions. You must tell ESA that you're working and you must fill out a PW1 form. See link. https://www.entitledto.co.uk/help/permitted-work-rules
If the work you do contradicts the reasons why you're claiming ESA then it can go against you when you next have a review.
As you're still claiming DLA, as you likely already know you will eventually be invited to apply for PIP. When this happens, if the work you do contradicts the reasons for your claim then it can go against you.
Housing benefit won't be affected. Council tax reduction, i can't advise on that because all Local Authorities have their own rules so you need to report the changes if you start working.
