Hi guys,
Bare with me hope this makes sense.
I was awarded the enhanced rate of PIP for both elements in 2020 for 3 years. Last month I had to have a LCW UC assessment and was awarded LCWRA, which was great, back pay received.
My question is, as my PIP renewal is coming up in September to reapply, will I need to have another assessment for that or can they look at the assessment for the LCW one? It's just horrendous having those assessments puts an enormous amount of strain on me.

You will be sent more forms to fill in and return with all your evidence. Most people have assessments even for reviews and this can be either by telephone, face to face or video call.PIP and the work capability assessment are 2 different benefits and one doesn’t affect the other.
When you do receive the form you need to make sure you treat it as a new claim and put as much information as possible. Lots of threads here with advice about PIP reviews so have a search through some of them.0 -

Good luck @lucal88. Hopefully, you will get the paper base one; I can tell that's what you would prefer. Please feel free to keep us updated. We are all here for you
