Hi, my name is kerryAnn1972! My phone assessment only lasted 30 mins. Is that good or bad sign?

Hi and welcome to the community

The length of your assessment has no relevance as it can depend on hoe much info you put on your form hospital many descriptors apply and lots if other factors

Welcome to the community @kerryAnn1972 :) Thank you for joining!

Just to let you know, I've moved your post into our PIP category, and renamed it to make it easier for other members to find.

As janer1967 has explained, the length of the assessment doesn't really indicate how well it went. The amount of time it takes varies quite a lot, so it's not anything to worry about.

How did you find the assessment?

My phone assessment lasted just bout 2 minutes, then few days later got award letter

I see in another thread that you're not claiming PIP at the moment because you mention starting a claim. Therefore you phone assessment would have been for the work capability assessment, which is a different benefit to PIP. Decisions on the work capability assessment when claiming Universal Credit are often made very quickly.
