For DLA for children you need to prove she needs more care and/ir supervision than a child the same age who doesn't have a health condition. There's some information here about filling out the form. https://www.citizensadvice.org.uk/benefits/sick-or-disabled-people-and-carers/disability-living-allowance/help-with-your-dla-claim/help-with-dla-form/Adding a couple of real world incidents of exactly what happened the last time she attempted each activity that applies. Include information such as where she was, did anyone see it, what exactly happened and what the consequences were. You can also get some expert advice from an agency near you. Start here. https://advicelocal.uk/

Hello @Sumayyah2018 and welcome to the online community, I hope you are well this morning.
This is a very supportive and welcoming site to be a part of so I’m hopeful that you’ll find it to be a positive outlet. Feel free to have a look around and get involved wherever you’d like 😊 I have included below a few of the pages I’d recommend having a look through to get used to things:
- The virtual coffee lounge which is one of our categories, in which we play games and talk about general subjects such as hobbies and interests
- The recent discussions page, which shows an overview of everything happening across the community
- The categories page, which shows a full list of discussion groups on the community
If you have any questions at all then don’t hesitate to ask.
I have moved your thread over to our benefits and financial support category, which you might find it helpful to browse for related discussions. We also have a PIP, DLA and AA category, as well as a children, parents and families category, that you might be interested in browsing. Scope also have some family services that you can read about over on this page.
