How can we help you?0

Advice I think I put it on the work and career wall but in short I have been accepted for ill health retirement but I’ve been advised not to resign and wait for them to organise the stage 3 and dismiss me as I will not be able to get financial help for 12 weeks but the trust I work for want me to resign and have said that the ill health retirement will be withdrawn if not taken in a reasonable amount of time. Really don’t know what to do0

Hello @Stormysky and welcome to the online community
I see you have made a post in the work and employment category, it's great to see you getting involved.
This is a very supportive and welcoming site to be a part of so I’m hopeful that you’ll find it to be a positive outlet. Feel free to have a look around and get involved wherever you’d like 😊 I have included below a few of the pages I’d recommend having a look through to get used to things:
- The virtual coffee lounge which is one of our categories, in which we play games and talk about general subjects such as hobbies and interests
- The recent discussions page, which shows an overview of everything happening across the community
- The categories page, which shows a full list of discussion groups on the community
If you have any questions at all then don’t hesitate to ask.

Hello @Stormysky! 😁 A special welcome to you on Scope. I really like your your profile name and your dog looks very sweet!
I am sorry to hear about the work situation. Retiring on ill health reasons must be a lot to cope with.I am not an expert in this area, although I would suggest the Citezens Advice Bureau for employment advice. Also, there is an organisation called Acas, that give information about employment issues.
