What are your top questions about invisible illnesses & Disability Pride Month in the US?

On this side of the pond we're finishing out Disability Pride month, and like a lot of people with invisible disabilities or mental health issues, I have complicated feelings about using the word "disabled" and Disability Pride. I wrote a lil blog post trying to answer some of the most common questions I hear from friends with similar issues, but I wanted to ask those of you without visible disabilities: how do you feel about using the word "disabled"? Do you feel like you 'fit in' with Disability Pride spaces? Why or why not?

Thanks for posting this @chronic_and_iconic, as someone with a visible disability I can't answer your question directly I'm afraid.
It's interesting to think about disability pride in the UK and how it hasn't yet gained as much awareness yet compared to other pride days/months, or compared to other countries. I get the feeling it's a bigger thing in the US, is that right?Online Community Coordinator
