Today, to coincide with National Play Day, we are launching a new action for our campaigners. It's an opportunity for friends, family and parents of disabled children to engage their politician (MP in England or MS in Wales) with the Let's Play Fair Campaign. 

The campaign is calling on government to create an inclusive playgrounds fund, so that disabled children can access and enjoy their local playgrounds.

Depending on how much time you have, there is a menu of different actions you can take to engage your MP, such as an email, phone call, meeting or even a meeting in the local playground. The invite is a play on a birthday party invite, so its a novel way of engaging politicians.

 

Is your family left out of your local playground? Ask your Member of Parliament (MP) or Member of Senedd (MS) to listen to your experiences and why inclusive playgrounds matter for disabled children.
