Good morning @binky1234 :) Welcome to the community! How are you doing today?

It's great to have you on board as a member. Is there anything in particular that you feel you need help with at the moment, or that you'd like to offer advice on?

You can take a look through our categories page to see the kinds of topics we discuss, though I imagine you have an idea already :)

Yes that is quite stressful totally understand.

I did my review 4 weeks ago and sent it back with loads of supporting evidence from the Occupational therapist, GP letter of support detailing my illnesses, Rheumatologist letter etc I actually called them today to get a rough timeframe and to see if they had married up my GP letter  of support to my file as this was sent separately.
I was told because my award ends next June to expect a decision next year so my advice is try and not stress as what I understand the DWP are behind where PIP is concerned.

Nerves getting the better of me sadly.

I was wondering does anyone know how successful pip award reviews are.

Plus if medical is needed as I'm facing medical via telephone call do they just ask on what was previously awarded or do they go through the whole form again.

Tyi for any feedback as it is truly very much appreciated.

47% of reviews maintain their award, 22% are refused, 18% increased award, 12% award decreased. Those are the stats up until Jan 2022. https://www.gov.uk/government/statistics/personal-independence-payment-statistics-to-january-2022/personal-independence-payment-official-statistics-to-january-2022#review-outcomes
The assessment will be the same as your first time claim. I've not known them as what my current award was at the time.

Thank you so much @poppy123456 and tbh I was hoping you would answer.

The only thing that has changed since my last claim is that I now have fibromyalgia and Crohns arthritis.

My previous claim I was awarded standard for both but since then my Fatigue is scoring 10 and my mobilty has been affected for the worse so fingers crossed I am kept on the same award standard for both.

    Thanks again Poppy123456.
