Reassessment worries

Hi
I am due any day now to be reassessed after it being 2 years since the last one. At the last assessment I was moved out of the support group after 5 years of being in it and put in the other group the name of it I cannot remember. I appealed and won the case. I will be claiming my pension in 18 months’ time and can't help worrying about having to go through that whole process if they assess me again. I know that they can you at any time but would the really want to reassess me that close to getting my pension. Is it common for them to do this? It would help my anxiety just know the likelihood of it happening.

You won't be reassessed right now because all reviews have been suspended for the past 2 years. They are only concentrating on first work capability assessments at the moment.
Your current award will continue until a new decision is made on a review. When these will start back up is anyone's guess.

Hi and welcome to the community

Currently assessment for work capability are suspended and have been for a long time due to priorities dealing with new claims

So dont expect one anytime soon . There is no end date for an award the timescales are just a guide you'd award will remain in place until a new decision is made

You could possibly not have a review before your retirement age it will depend on when they resume reviews
