Hi I am on new style esa in the support group and and getting a small amount of universal credit, which I applied for recently will I get the back dated £1500 if the appeal is won

    Would you be able to tell us a little bit more about your situation, so that we can try to answer your question? 

    You've mentioned an appeal - is this regarding your Universal Credit claim? What stage of the appeal are you at?

    I have got a new style ESA and I am in the support group,from March 21, no appeal I was awarded it after filling out the form and waiting the 12 weeks.

    last year I applied for universal credit as well as my esa and got that I wanted to no would I get the £1500 that that people who was on esa jsa didnt get while covid payments were getting made by dwp the extra £20

    No because you were claiming New style ESA, which isn't means tested so it wouldn't apply to that. If you claimed UC in March 2021 then you would have had the uplift in with your standard element because it didn't end until around September 2021.
