Remaining politically neutral during General Election 2024

Under guidance from the Electoral Commission and Charity Commission, it's important that Scope remains politically neutral during General Elections.

While we understand that this period will see many passionate discussions and do not want to discourage open discussion, we cannot allow discussions which are purely intended to influence voting.

As ever, please make sure that your comments remain respectful of other people's opinions and keep to our online community house rules.

The current news doesn’t help, nothing but bad news at the moment.

i used to pre judge situations a lot when I was younger but having been made aware of that I started to alter my thinking. For example I would pre judge a family get together thinking all sorts would go wrong for me and then not go, giving some lame excuse or other for not taking part. Too much thinking like that can leave you housebound if your not careful, which was happening to me.

Thanks for sharing this motto with us @Nicetomeetyou22. Really powerful as always  :)

It sounds like a lot of our community members are experiencing anxiety at the moment. Understandably so but if you ever need to talk to someone, we are all here for you!   <3

That sounds like a really positive strategy @leeCal. How do you find it?  :)
