If the decision was LCW then there's no extra money each month. There will only be extra money if the decision was Limited Capability for Work Related Activity (LCWRA). Can you please confirm what exactly the decision was.

Hello and welcome to the forum @Lmunday1980af and thanks for your query.
I'm glad you've been awarded, that must be a relief for you? It would be helpful to know if it's LCW or LCWRA, then we can advise whether or not you are owed any backdated pay.
In the meantime, please explore the rest of the forum, if you'd like to you can meet and chat with other members over in our virtual coffee lounge, find all the latest conversations in our recent discussions category, and browse all the different topics in our categories page.

Good afternoon from me too @Lmunday1980af
As poppy says you will not get an extra payment or element in your UC if you have LCW. If you are working if you have LCW a work allowance is deducted from your earnings before your UC starts being reduced. The amount of the work allowance depends on whether you have a housing costs element in your UC. A household can only have one work allowance even f you are a couple and both have earnings. This isn't an extra payment it just means that less of your earnings are being taken into account when calculating your UC.0
