Hi , I had a call of capita asking me questions and they said they may have enough info to do a paper assessment, but if they need more info they would let me know, this was a week ago & iIv still not herd anything , so I called DWP & asked what was going on & they said it’s with assessor , so when will I know if they will do a paper report or if I will need an assessment, many thanks

You can try ringing Capita to ask. DWP will not know anything because it’s nothing to do with them at this stage.0

Hello @pippyg1 and welcome to the community, how are you today?
This is a very supportive and welcoming community to be a part of so I hope you enjoy taking part. Please feel free to have a look around and get involved wherever you'd like.
Thank you for telling us about your experience with the call and being asked the questions. How did you find the call?
Hopefully you hear back about this soon, I can imagine it is quite frustrating not being sure what is happening.0 -
Thanks for your reply’s , the questions was ok, I just didn’t expect the call, but after I’d wished I’d added a bit more info, I’m just confused as to what they will do next as they obviously had my file in front of them , so surly by now they should of sent a paper report to DWP or sent me an appoint for an assessment or does it just go back into a pile , confused,0

You said they "may" have enough of info for a paper based assessment. This doesn't mean you will have pne for definite. If an assessment is needed there are huge backlogs in a lot of areas so you could be waiting quite a while for the appointment.0

Oh ok, not what I wanted to hear , but makes sense , I just though as they have looked at my claim & called me they would either do the report if enough evidence or just send out the next available date for assessment, looks like I’ll be waiting then as if they where going to do a paper based report surly they would of done it by now, just seems strange they have spent the time to look at it & call me to then have to wait again , but thanks poppy as I’m new to this so any info is helpful0
